Football Recap: Weleetka Picks Up 14th Straight Win at Home

Weleetka had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Seiling Wildcats 54-12 on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Outlaws, who have now won 13 matchups by 20 points or more so far this season.

A big part of Weleetka's victory came down to the chemistry between Isaac Drake and his top target Isaiah Drake. Isaac rushed for 206 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.8 yards per carry while Isaiah gained 352 total yards and two touchdowns. Isaac's longest rush was for an incredible 76 yards. Another player making a difference was Bryant Sites, who picked up 197 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Weleetka was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 348 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 218 rushing yards in three consecutive contests.

Weleetka's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB seven times. The heavy lifting was done by Drake and Noah Hare, who racked up four sacks between them. Hare has been hot for a while, having also posted five or more total tackles the last nine times he's played. Bretton Hare was another major factor on D, making 11 total tackles and snagged an interception.

Weleetka pushed their record up to 14-0 with the win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 10.9 points per game. As for Seiling, with the defeat, they broke their 12-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-2.

As of now, neither Weleetka nor Seiling have any future games scheduled.
