The Lincoln Park Academy Greyhounds's 12-game losing streak dating back to last season came to an end on Monday. They managed a 46-42 win over Tradition Prep. That looming 46-42 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Lincoln Park Academy yet this season.

It was another big night for J'Shaun Williams, who scored 25 points along with six rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Lincoln Park Academy's points. Franco Monaco was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with two steals.

Tradition Prep lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Christian Arisi, who scored ten points. Another player making a difference was Jayden Harris, who scored ten points.

Lincoln Park Academy's win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-10. As for Tradition Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lincoln Park Academy the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Jensen Beach at 6:00 p.m. on January 17th. Tradition Prep will take on Somerset College Prep Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Somerset College Prep Academy is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.
