After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Byron, St. Peter was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the New Ulm Eagles by a score of 3-1. The Saints haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.
St. Peter's victory bumped their record up to 6-11. As for New Ulm, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 6-12 record.
Coincidentally, St. Peter and New Ulm will both be playing Mankato East the next time they take the court. The Saints will head out to face the Cougars at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday, while the Eagles will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on the 9th.
