Basketball Recap: Lebanon Trail Comes Up Short

If Lebanon Trail was feeling good fresh off their 75-46 takedown of Leonard last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lebanon Trail Trail Blazers lost 65-41 to the Frisco Raccoons on Tuesday. The Trail Blazers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Raccoons from their previous meeting back in January of 2022.

When it comes to explaining why Lebanon Trail lost, don't look at Joaquin Gibson. Despite the final result, he posted 13 points. Deniz Aral was another key player, putting up seven points.

Lebanon Trail dropped their record down to 9-8 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Frisco, their victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-10.

Lebanon Trail and Frisco could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Lebanon Trail (ranked 474th) will meet Emerson (ranked 176th) at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Frisco (ranked 924th) will meet Centennial (ranked 240th) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
