Volleyball Preview: Bernalillo Spartans vs. East Mountain Timberwolves
Bernalillo and East Mountain are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2016, but not for long. The Bernalillo Spartans will head out to face off against the East Mountain Timberwolves at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. East Mountain took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Bernalillo, who comes in off a win.
On Saturday, it was close, but Bernalillo sidestepped Shiprock for a 3-2 win.
Bernalillo was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-21, 21-25, 25-19, 15-12.
Meanwhile, East Mountain was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against Sandia Prep, falling 3-0.

East Mountain's loss came about despite a quality game from Jennifer Tetreault, who had 13 digs. Tetreault is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in the last five games she's played dating back to last season.
Even though they lost, East Mountain kept the net locked down and finished the game with 19 blocks. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sandia Prep didn't had any.
Bernalillo now has a winning record of 8-7. As for East Mountain, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-12.
