Seventy-First extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping them up to 3-1. They enjoyed a cozy 32-15 victory over the Hoke County Bucks. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Falcons' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 25th, while the Bucks are ranked 158th).

It was another big night for Shon Pone, who rushed for 265 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 13.3 yards per carry. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making six total tackles and defending one pass. R'Maunni Watson was another key player, rushing for 60 yards.

As for Hoke County, they now have a losing record of 1-2. They haven't had much luck with Seventy-First recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Although Hoke County took the loss, they still got scores from Darrell Baria and Favor Anab.

Seventy-First has already played their next match, a 36-28 win against Jack Britt on the 19th. As for Hoke County, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 21-0 loss against Forest Hills on the 19th.
