Soccer Recap: Brighton Takes a Loss

After flying high against Howell on Thursday, Brighton came back down to earth. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Salem Rocks by a score of 2-1 on Monday. Brighton were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Salem apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Brighton now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Salem, their win bumped their record up to 4-2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brighton will host Royal Oak at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Salem, they will be playing in front of their home fans against South Lyon East at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
