Roy/Mosquero put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They escaped with a win against the Aztec Tigers by the margin of a single free throw, 51-50. The 51-point effort marked the Blue/Lady Blue's lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Despite the loss, Aztec still got an impressive performance from Jazzlyn Gomez, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten steals. Those 24 points gave Gomez a new career-high. Camden Mariano was another key player, putting up nine points and four steals.

Roy/Mosquero's victory bumped their record up to 16-0. As for Aztec, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Roy/Mosquero will take on Des Moines at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Aztec, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Aztec Tigers take on the Bloomfield Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
