Baseball Recap: Richland Takes a Loss

Richland managed to slip by Central Cambria the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Rams lost 10-3 to the Red Devils on Tuesday. Surprisingly, this marked the Rams' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Richland saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caden Robertson, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Richland has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Central Cambria, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 11-5.

Coming up, Richland will square off against Somerset at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Central Cambria, they will venture away from home to take on Westmont Hilltop at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The last three games the Hilltoppers have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
