Volleyball Recap: Ponderosa's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Ponderosa can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They came out on top against the Hinkley Thunder by a score of 2-0.

Ren Rosenberg paced Ponderosa's offense, picking up eight kills. Rosenberg got some help from Madden Vondal and his nine assists. Finally, Jake Sherrill kept Ponderosa's defense grounded, leading the team with five blocks.

Ponderosa's victory bumped their record up to 5-12. As for Hinkley, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.

Ponderosa wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against ThunderRidge on the 19th. As for Hinkley, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Vista PEAK Prep on the 19th.
