Football Recap: Willows Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Willows's offense. They took a blow against the Pierce Bears on Friday, falling 42-0. The Honkers have struggled against the Bears recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Leading Pierce to victory were Austin Jorge and Nate Macintosh. Jorge threw for 99 yards and three TDs on only nine passes, while Macintosh gained 113 total yards and two touchdowns. What's more, Jorge racked up 143.1 passer rating, the most he's had since back in October of 2024.

Willows' defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Pierce, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Looking ahead, Willows will square off against Durham at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Pierce, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Paradise at 7:30 p.m. on the 24th.
