Baseball Recap: Grandview Takes a Loss

Grandview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 12-1 to Kearney. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Kearney this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-0 two weeks ago.

Grandview saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase Ransom, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Grandview's record is now 10-16-2. As for Kearney, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-11 record this season.

Grandview does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kearney, they will venture away from home to face off against Winnetonka at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
