Baseball Recap: George County Rebels vs. Perry Central Bulldogs
After only two runs in their last match, George County made sure to put some runs up on the board against Perry Central on Friday. The George County Rebels were the clear victor by a 12-0 margin over the Perry Central Bulldogs. The Rebels might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by six runs or more this season.
Tripp Lightsey made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over four innings pitched. Lightsey was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI. What's more, he posted three hits, the most he's had since back in May of 2024.
