Linda Chavez has brought in more RBI than anyone else on the Hoover team this season and she led the team again on Friday. Chavez went 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three RBI, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

Chavez and Hoover will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against San Ysidro at 4:00 p.m. on April 7. The last time these two faced off, Chavez and Co. were forced to settle for a 27-5 loss.
