Brentsville District waltzed into their match on Monday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 55-23 win over the Fauquier Falcons. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 22 points or more this season.

Brentsville District's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Riley Coombs led the charge by going 8-for-9 to rack up 16 points and five rebounds. Thanks to that strong game, Coombs now owns an excellent 45.1% shooting accuracy. Payton Brown was another key player, putting up ten points in addition to six assists and four steals.

Brentsville District's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-4. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.8 points over those games. As for Fauquier, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-11.

Brentsville District does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fauquier, they will challenge Sherando at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Sherando will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Fauquier surely won't give up without a fight.
