Football Preview: Montoursville Warriors vs. Milton Black Panthers
Montoursville is 7-0 against Milton since October of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. Montoursville is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Wellsboro. Montoursville really took it to Wellsboro for the full four quarters, racking up a 47-7 win on the road. The victory was some much needed relief for the Warriors as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak dating back to last season.
Christian Banks was a one-man wrecking crew for Montoursville as he rushed for 127 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Hayden Harvey, who rushed for 74 yards and a touchdown on only six carries.
Montoursville didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Owen Kleinman, Landon Morehart, and Kingston Fisher picked up one apiece.
Meanwhile, Milton is still undefeated this season after their match against Shikellamy on Friday, but Shikellamy came as close as anyone has to beating them. Milton skirted past Shikellamy 20-17.
