Soccer Recap: Taos Comes Up Short

Taos was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Santa Fe Demons. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Taos couldn't quite close it out.

Taos' loss dropped their record down to 4-6-1. As for Santa Fe, their win bumped their record up to 7-5.

Looking ahead, Taos will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Monte Del Sol Charter at 4:00 p.m. Taos will be up against Monte Del Sol Charter's rather soft defense (which has allowed 7.93 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Santa Fe, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Eldorado on the 1st.
