Soccer Game Preview: Childersburg vs. Donoho

Childersburg hasn't had much luck against Donoho recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Childersburg Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Donoho Falcons at 5:00 p.m. This will be Childersburg's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.

Childersburg's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Weaver.

Meanwhile, Donoho put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by a 6-2 margin over Westminster School at Oak Mountain. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by four goals or more this season.

They hit Westminster School at Oak Mountain with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from ANNA KATE WALLACE (3), BROOKE VANDIBER (2), and KATELYN MCMORRIS.

The victory got Childersburg back to even at 3-3. As for Donoho, their win bumped their record up to 11-0.

Childersburg might still be hurting after the 11-1 loss they got from Donoho in their previous meeting back in February of 2022. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Childersburg was down 7-0.
