Volleyball Recap: Alvin Find Success

Alvin picked up another tournament win on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Cedar Creek Eagles, sneaking past 2-1.

Karlie Dorsten paced Alvin's offense, picking up ten kills. Dorsten got some help from Hayleigh Griffin and her 19 assists.

Alvin's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Cedar Creek, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Alvin has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Thorndale on the 21st. As for Cedar Creek, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Davenport on the 21st.
