Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Conant). They blew past the Maine East Blue Demons 42-6 on Friday. With the Cougars ahead 20-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Arianna Dugo was her usual excellent self, rushing for 246 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.2 yards per carry, and also throwing for 269 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 13.5 yards per attempt. Her rushing production has been exceptional as that marked her seventh straight game with at least 113 rushing yards. Annabel Danso was Dugo's top target, picking up 200 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Conant's victory bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Maine East, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Looking ahead, Conant will head out to take on Naperville North at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Maine East does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
