            Baseball Recap: South Hunterdon Eagles vs. Belvidere County Seaters        
        
		
        
        
            South Hunterdon blew Belvidere out of the water the last time the pair played, but  on Thursday Belvidere got their revenge. The Eagles fell just short of the County Seaters by a score of  10-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  loss the Eagles have suffered  since May 14, 2024.
  Landon Katz was cooking despite his team's loss,   going 2-for-4 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Trevor Lingerfield, who  went 3-for-4 with two  runs and one  double.
This is the second loss in a row for South Hunterdon and  nudges their season record down to 8-7. As for Belvidere, their victory bumped their record up to 5-9.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Hunterdon will welcome Glen Ridge  at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Belvidere, they will be playing at home against Notre Dame  at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. The County Seaters are facing the Spartans at the right time seeing as the Spartans are stuck on  a  three-game losing streak.
