Lamar Christian lost against Perry Central back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Lamar Christian came up short against Perry Central, falling 10-3. The Lions' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Lamar Christian saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kolton Buie, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI. That's the most hits Buie has posted since back in April of 2024.

Lamar Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Perry Central, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-8.

Coming up, Lamar Christian will venture away from home to challenge Sylva Bay Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sylva Bay Academy will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Lamar Christian surely won't give up without a fight. As for Perry Central, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 9-1 defeat against Forrest County Agricultural on the 22nd.
