Basketball Recap: Manatee Hurricanes vs. Bradenton Christian Panthers
Manatee lost against Bradenton Christian back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Manatee Hurricanes took a hard 65-46 fall against the Bradenton Christian Panthers. The Hurricanes haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Manatee's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Bradenton Christian, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Manatee won't have much time to rest: their next game is against DeSoto County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. DeSoto County will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Manatee surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bradenton Christian, they and Indian Rocks Christian will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Bradenton Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Indian Rocks Christian likes a good challenge.
