Volleyball Recap: Los Altos Continues Home Dominance on Wednesday

Los Altos took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Gunn, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Los Altos skirted past Gunn 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Eagles have posted since April 22, 2024.

Los Altos was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 25-20, 24-26, 22-25, 25-19, 15-4.

Liam Meyer paced Los Altos' offense, picking up 16 kills. Meyer got some help from Dexter Hatfield and his 45 assists. Meyer was also solid from the service line: he led the team with six aces.

Los Altos' victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-4. As for Gunn, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-4.
