Preview: Nipmuc Regional Warriors vs. Bay Path RVT Minutemen

The Nipmuc Regional Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bay Path RVT Minutemen at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

After a string of three wins, Nipmuc Regional's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 52-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of Uxbridge. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Nipmuc Regional has scored all season.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Logan DeMarzo, who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of James McKinney, who scored ten points.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Bay Path RVT's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 65-53 to Auburn. Even though they lost, Bay Path RVT's still made a splash on offense and bumped their average scoring up to 50.1 points per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Like Bay Path RVT, they lost despite seeing results from several players. Peter Barbale led the charge by scoring 14 points. Another player making a difference was Dale Nussey, who scored 14 points.

Nipmuc Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Bay Path RVT, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-9.
