Basketball Recap: Seymour Extends Winning Streak to Four

Seymour won the last time they faced Wilby and things went their way on Friday too. The Seymour Wildcats came out on top against the Wilby Wildcats by a score of 67-54. Winning may never get old, but Seymour sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Seymour's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Joey Carrafiello, who went 10 for 19 on his way to 25 points and five rebounds. The matchup was Carrafiello's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Robby Carrafiello, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten assists.

Seymour is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.0 points per game. As for Wilby, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.
