Recap: Hitchcock Bulldogs vs. Hempstead Bobcats

The Hitchcock Bulldogs can now show off 14 landslide victories after their most recent game on Tuesday. They blew past Hempstead 80-28 at home. The win was familiar territory for Hitchcock who now have 13 in a row.

Hempstead lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Calvin Thompson, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Dontae Houston, who scored four points along with seven rebounds.

Hitchcock pushed their record up to 26-3 with that victory, which was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 43.6 points. As for Hempstead, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 15-16 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hitchcock will take on Brazos at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Hitchcock's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three games. As for Hempstead, they will head out on the road to face off against Boling at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Hempstead focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 29 on Tuesday.
