Baseball Recap: Ascension Episcopal Picks Up Ninth Straight Win at Home

While Ascension Episcopal's win against Hanson Memorial wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Ascension Episcopal sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 victory over Hanson Memorial on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-0 back in February.

The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for Hanson Memorial, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9-1.
