Basketball Recap: Valor College Prep Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Franklin Road Academy, Valor College Prep was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They strolled past the Lawson Lightning with points to spare, taking the game 45-30. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Valor College Prep pushed their record up to 13-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 48.2 points. As for Lawson, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Valor College Prep will head out on the road to square off against Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Valor College Prep's defense has only allowed 28.3 points per game this season, so Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Lawson, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Valor College Prep at 6:00 p.m. on January 31st.
