Volleyball Recap: King William Gets the Win

It's playoff time, and King William had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Lunenburg Central Chargers on Wednesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 17-25, 25-13, 25-23.

Addison Kirby paced King William's offense, picking up 15 kills. Kirby got some help from Ella Johnson and her 37 assists. Johnson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

King William's victory bumped their record up to 15-8. As for Lunenburg Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-8.

King William wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Poquoson on the 10th. Lunenburg Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
