League recap: Benton winning streak up to four games

Benton (30-6, 9-1) has won four games in a row, Southern Illinois River-to-River - Ohio's longest active win streak. Two of those wins came in the past week, including a 10-3 win over Anna-Jonesboro.
Tyler Leffler led the lineup this week with two hits and one RBI.
The Rangers'
Dakota Head was the best pitcher in the league this week. He won one game and struck out two batters.
Benton's pitching was especially stingy this week, allowing eight hits and zero walks to lead the league in both categories. The Rangers have given up a mere 250 hits on the year, while striking out 199 opposing hitters. Leffler is the leader in that category with 66 Ks on the season.
Tyler Leffler drove in four runners as Benton defeated Anna-Jonesboro 10-3 on Monday.
