Baseball Recap: Sonora Takes a Loss

Sonora was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Amador Buffaloes, falling 14-2. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 8-3 to them when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Sonora saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jeremy Snyder, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Sonora's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Amador, they now have a winning record of 3-2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sonora will face off against Amador at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Amador, they will challenge Franklin at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Amador will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
