Recap: Carroll Eagles vs. Charles Henderson Trojans
The Carroll Eagles lost against the Charles Henderson Trojans last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Carroll took a 55-40 bruising from Charles Henderson. Carroll has struggled against Charles Henderson recently, as their match on Tuesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Devon Pruitt, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of N'jia Gosha, who scored ten points along with nine rebounds.
Carroll's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-5. As for Charles Henderson, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-10.
Carroll will head out on the road to face off against Rehobeth at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Rehobeth will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 277th, while Carroll is ranked 90th). As for Charles Henderson, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Greenville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Greenville has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
