Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Interboro). They were the clear victors by a 24-2 margin over the Chester Clippers on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Buccaneers also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Jaxson Munro made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. Munro was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

In other batting news, Kaiden Whalen was incredible, going 3-for-4 with five RBI, three runs, and one triple. JJ Nelson was another key player, scoring three runs while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances.

Interboro always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The victory got Interboro back to even at 2-2. As for Chester, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
