Elizabeth came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Ponderosa Mustangs, falling 6-0. The loss continues a trend for Elizabeth in their meetings with Ponderosa: they've now lost four in a row.

Elizabeth's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Ponderosa, their victory bumped their record up to 4-0.

Elizabeth wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 5-3 win against Denver Academy on the 10th. As for Ponderosa, they are taking a road trip to challenge Mountain Vista at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
