Basketball Recap: West Texas Comes Up Short

West Texas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 78-22 loss at the hands of the Stratford Elks. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Comanches this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 50-24 back in January.

West Texas' loss dropped their record down to 16-15. As for Stratford, their victory was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 26-4.

West Texas has already played their next contest (against Vega), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Stratford will face off against Sanford-Fritch at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
