Recap: Baltic Bulldogs vs. Parker Pheasants
The Baltic Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their ninth straight loss. They took a 51-35 bruising from Parker. Baltic was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Parker apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.
Despite the defeat, Baltic saw an underclassman step up: Caitlyn Pickett dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Baylee Breece, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Baltic's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Parker, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 1-12.
Baltic will be playing at home against Dell Rapids at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Dell Rapids has now lost 14 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 7. As for Parker, Parker and Chester will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
