After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Tatnall, Avon Grove Charter was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand ASPIRA Charter a 4-0 shutout. Considering Avon Grove Charter's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

They hit ASPIRA Charter with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Breanna Medina Mace (2), Alma Lopez, and Jennifer Comyns.

Avon Grove Charter's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for ASPIRA Charter, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Avon Grove Charter has already played their next contest, a 5-0 defeat against Tri-State Christian on the 3rd. As for ASPIRA Charter, they will square off against Sussex Central at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
