Basketball Recap: Grants Pass Falls Short Against Ranked Willamette

On Tuesday, Grants Pass faced Willamette in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Grants Pass Cavemen lost 56-36 to the Willamette Wolverines. The defeat continues a trend for the Cavemen in their matchups with the Wolverines: they've now lost seven in a row.

Grants Pass' loss dropped their record down to 16-8. As for Willamette, the win (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 20-5.

As of now, neither Grants Pass nor Willamette have any future games scheduled.
