Preview: Peabody Golden Tide vs. Westview Chargers
Peabody has been on the road for three straight, but on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Westview Chargers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Peabody will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings (they are ranked 87th, while Westview is ranked 31st).
After soaring to a 45-point victory in their last game, Peabody came back down to earth on Friday. They fell just short of Westview by a score of 34-32. Peabody has not had much luck with Westview recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Despite the loss, Peabody saw an underclassman step up: Brilee Price scored 12 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Price hasn't dropped below two steals for six straight games. Nyasia Luten was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Peabody's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Westview, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 18-4.
