Basketball Recap: Klein Forest Comes Up Short

Klein Forest suffered their biggest loss since December 15, 2023 on Friday. They came up short against the Jordan Warriors, falling 67-46. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 457th, while the Warriors are ranked 15th).

Jordan got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Keegan Morehead out in front who went 7 for 9 on his way to 19 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaden Holt, who went 6 of 11 on his way to 18 points and five assists.

Klein Forest's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Jordan, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-1.

Klein Forest didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 46-45 victory against Fulshear on the 6th. As for Jordan, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 47-43 win against Fort Bend Marshall on the 7th.
