Softball Recap: D'hanis Wins Going Away Against Knippa

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Leakey, D'Hanis was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Knippa Crushers 11-1. The Cowboys haven't had any issues with the Crushers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

D'Hanis got a massive performance out of Maggie Rothe, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one double. Those three RBI gave Rothe a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ryan Magers, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

D'Hanis was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .481. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Knippa only posted a batting average of .300.

D'Hanis' win bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Knippa, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-16.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: D'Hanis beat the Crushers by a score of 15-0 on Saturday.
