Soccer Game Preview: Middleborough vs. Mashpee

The Middleborough Sachems will head out on the road to challenge the Mashpee Falcons at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Tuesday, Middleborough and Fairhaven finished up their match with a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, Mashpee has been on a difficult stretch since their win on September 22. They played to a draw too, finishing 1-1 against Cohasset.

Mashpee's draw gives them a new season record of 2-6-2. As for Middleborough, they moved theirs to 6-2-7.

Middleborough came out on top in a nail-biter against Mashpee in their previous meeting back in September, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Sachems since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
