Softball Recap: Hunter-Tannersville Takes a Loss

Hunter-Tannersville lost against South Kortright Central back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wildcats came up short against the Rams, falling 19-4.

AVA BYRNE made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in both of her plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs.

Hunter-Tannersville has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. Those defeats can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for South Kortright Central, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-3.

As of now, neither Hunter-Tannersville nor the Rams have any future games scheduled.
