Basketball Recap: Laverne Comes Up Short

Laverne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Pond Creek-Hunter Panthers, falling 72-44.

Laverne's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Pond Creek-Hunter, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Laverne nor Pond Creek-Hunter have any future games scheduled.
