Baseball Game Preview: Shenandoah Zeps vs. Caldwell Redskins

Shenandoah hasn't had much luck against Caldwell recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Zeps will challenge the Redskins at 5:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, Shenandoah came up short against Bridgeport and fell 6-3. The Zeps have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Shenandoah saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colten Gress, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Hayden Lagneaux also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Caldwell came out on top against Warren on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive nine-run third inning. The Redskins walked away with a 13-8 victory over the Warriors. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Redskins.

Shenandoah's loss dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Caldwell, their win bumped their record up to 13-2.

Shenandoah suffered a grim 13-1 defeat to Caldwell in their previous meeting back in April. Can the Zeps avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
