Lone Pine is 9-1 against Trona since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Eagles will host the Tornadoes at 12:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Lone Pine has seven straight wins, Trona has seven straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Monday, Lone Pine made easy work of Immanuel Christian and carried off an 11-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won five matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Trona didn't have quite enough to beat Lee Vining on Saturday and fell 16-14.

Trona's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10-1. As for Lone Pine, their win bumped their record up to 11-3.

Lone Pine got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in May of 2025 against Trona by a conclusive 27-4 score. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tornadoes turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
