Basketball Recap: Providence Takes a Loss

Providence was the 42-38 winner over Chadwick when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Providence Pioneers were just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 56-55 to the Chadwick Dolphins.

Providence's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 10-11. As for Chadwick, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-6.

Providence has already played their next matchup, a 66-65 defeat against Grant on the 1st. As for Chadwick, they are taking a road trip to square off against Polytechnic at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Chadwick's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.
