There's no place like home for Granbury, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against the Saginaw Rough Riders by a score of 4-1 on Tuesday. The Pirates haven't had any issues with the Rough Riders recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Preslee Carnes was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Morgan Johnson, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Granbury's victory bumped their record up to 5-11-1. As for Saginaw, they dropped their record down to 3-18 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Coincidentally, Granbury and Saginaw will both be playing Azle the next time they take the field. The Rough Riders will host the Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Pirates will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
