Holton hadn't beaten Rossville on the road since September 21, 2019 but that history sure didn't bother them on Tuesday. The Wildcats had just enough and edged out the Bulldogs 2-1. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against the Bulldogs on Saturday, they had to take a 2-1 defeat.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Holton got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-20, 23-25, 25-14.

Tinley Wilson paced Holton's offense, picking up 15 kills. Wilson got some help from Kinley Fluke and her 39 assists.

When it comes to explaining why Rossville lost, don't look at Ady Henry. Despite the final result, she had 25 digs and one assist.

Holton has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. As for Rossville, their loss dropped their record down to 14-6.

Holton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Circle on the 27th. As for Rossville, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Nemaha Central on the 30th.
